Open Book Library

The Open Book is a public library located in the City of Clovis, California. It welcomes and supports all people the enjoyment of reading and lifelong learning. The Open Book Library provides a wide variety of resources and services to help community residents obtain information to meet their personal, educational, and cultural needs that serve as a community center. Library spaces such as common area study tables, study rooms, story-time stage, and public electronic facilities are designed to encourage interaction and collaboration. Reading patio, quiet room, and individual study rooms are areas for residents to have a peaceful and tranquil experience for studying. Monthly art hub events are held in the Art gallery. The Meditation Garden has a biophilic design allowing residents to reduce stress and promote relaxation to the body and mind. The open book shape of the building is a meta- phor that symbolizes the pursuit of knowledge and the spirit of exploration for all ages and cultures.
